Common questions about Faster COD Forms

Getting Started
How do I enable the COD form on my store?

After installing the app, go to your Shopify admin and navigate to Online Store → Themes → Customize. In the left sidebar, click "App Embeds" and enable the Faster COD Forms embed. The COD button will appear on your product pages automatically.

Does the app replace my Shopify checkout?

The app adds a "Buy with COD" button on your product pages. When customers click it, a popup order form appears instead of going through the full Shopify checkout. Regular checkout still works for non-COD customers.

Can I use the app with page builders like GemPages or PageFly?

Yes. First enable the app embed in your theme settings. Then in your page builder, add the Faster COD Forms app block to any section. See Settings → Partners & Integrations in the app for step-by-step guides.

Order Form
Can I customize the fields on the form?

Yes. The Order Form Builder lets you add, remove, and rearrange fields using drag and drop. You can add custom fields, set fields as required or optional, and change labels and placeholder text.

Does the form support multiple languages?

Yes. You can customize all field labels, button text, and messages in the Order Form Builder. Set them to any language you need.

Can I set different shipping rates for different products?

Yes. Go to Order Form Builder → Shipping Rates to create rules based on product, collection, weight, or region. You can set flat rates, free shipping thresholds, or quantity-based pricing.

Order Protection
How does OTP verification work?

When enabled, customers receive a one-time code via SMS or WhatsApp before their order is placed. They must enter the correct code to complete the order. This reduces fake and prank orders. You need a Twilio or MSG91 account for SMS delivery.

Can I block orders from specific customers?

Yes. Under Order Protection, you can block orders by phone number, email address, IP address, or pincode. You can also set limits on how many orders a customer can place within a time period.

Tracking & Integrations
Do I need to add my pixels here if I already have them on Shopify?

No. If your pixels are already configured in Shopify, the app automatically sends events through them. Only add pixels in the app settings if you have additional pixels not configured in Shopify.

How does Google Sheets sync work?

Go to Settings → Google Sheets and sign in with your Google account. Select or create a spreadsheet. Every COD order will be automatically added as a new row with all order details.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan includes up to 60 orders per month with all core features. You can upgrade anytime if you need more orders.
